Featuring acid-free, pH buffered lignin and chlorine-free Alpha cellulose paper, the white matte surface is great for drawing and sketching. At 100 gsm, the paper is suitable for a wide range of dry media. It can be used for water-based markers and light washes, and has the same archival qualities as cotton.
This 21 x 21 cm sketchbook has a hardcover providing firm support when working, and the sewn binding offers extra durability, strength and protection for artworks. It comes with an elegant synthetic linen cover, which makes it scuff, stain and scratch resistant.

This is a lovely sketchbook, very good quality, and great that it opens flat without having to have a spiral binding.

I love the simple styling of this sketchbook, the square format, the fact that it lays flat and the off white colour of the paper. Unfortunately it is let down by the thinness of the paper (100gsm). It is very see through and so you can't draw on both sides. In fact you can see through to the next page even if you haven't drawn back to back. I've had to leave blank spreads and glue pages together to improve it. The cover which is beautiful in its simplicity, is not fit for purpose. I've used the sketchbook for only 5 illustrations so far and already the cardboard cover is curving and coming away from the binding fabric. I'd love to see this offered in the same style but with much thicker paper, say 280-300gsm and with a sturdier glue and thicker card for the cover.
