These Jackson’s Museum Stretched canvases combine the solidity of our new 20mm depth wooden stretcher bars, with what many consider to be the finest linens available in the world today. The stretcher bars are kiln-dried, finger-jointed and triple laminated, eliminating the risk of any twisting, warping, expanding or contracting of the wood over time. They are made from 100% PEFC Certified pine.

This is a 40x40cm Jackson’s Museum Stretched Canvas. The Canvas is a 460gsm Claessens linen canvas (CL66) with a medium surface. It is oil primed and is suitable for use with oil paints. For a full description of the various processes which go into manufacturing a Claessens canvas, click here.

Please allow an extra 10 - 18 days for the delivery of bespoke canvases. To avoid unnecessary delays with any art supplies you wish to purchase we advise that these are ordered separately.

’Oversized' stretched canvas orders - roughly those with two or more sides longer than 160 cm - cannot be delivered by regular couriers, and will incur an additional location-dependent delivery charge. Once we've received your order you will be contacted with confirmation of this cost and to arrange a delivery date.
