Solid side grain magnolia wood block from Japan. These blocks are quite soft to cut and the grain can be cut across without difficulty. The surface of the wood is smooth making them ideal for areas of solid color. These 10 mm solid side grain blocks are nice and thick so both side can be carved. If you do wish to use both sides please ensure you protect the underside from getting dented or scratched. Â
