Lenox 100 Cotton Drawing Rolls are made from 100% cotton for a versatile premium quality fine art paper. The paper is only 250gsm but very dimensionally stable making it an excellent paper for silkscreen. Its medium textured surface makes it ideal for all drawing techniques including graphite, pastel, and charcoal.

Lenox 100 has a balanced absorbency and is able to withstand bold impressions as well as delicate details. It is off white in colour and has a supple feel equivalent to high quality mould-made European papers.

The subtly textured paper is acid-free, pH neutral and designed to be used with graphite, pencil, pastel, and charcoal.

Lenox 100 was the first domestic 100% cotton paper in America to be designed for fine art applications. The founder of Legion, Len Levine, manufactured this paper in order to have a machine-made grade paper which had unique attributes and the potential to be used as a substrate for a variety of media.
