Info
There are many misconceptions about whether or not it is necessary to varnish an acrylic painting. As a general rule, you should always varnish your acrylic work when possible. Varnishes are applied over dry paint films and have several purposes. The first and most important function is to protect the painting surface from the environment and protect the pigments from ultraviolet light. Secondly, varnishes can be used to change or unify a painting’s surface sheen. Liquitex varnishes come in several different sheens, which can all be intermixed for a customized sheen.

Good reliable product. Good price and great service

not impressed - despite shaking for a long time this is a truly terrible spray, and leaves drips all over canvas, doesn't spray evenly just comes out of bottom of sprayer, can't seem to clear it. never sprays evenly at all, so will have to throw away 90% full. Only bought as my favourite AV satin varnish was not available, never again.

I bought the item to put a final coat on plastic models. I had read that Liquitex would be ideal but it takes an age to dry, if you spray sparingly it gives a lumpy finish and if you spray wetter it pools, so probably not the spray varnish i was looking for.

easy to use, not as high in odour as some other vanish products

Does exactly what I want it to do.

Did exactly as I wanted/expected.

It does what it says on the tin, touch dries reasonably quickly and for my application, ( pyrography) just lifts the colours a little to make them seem vibrant and fresh and the scorched wood reasonably shiny. Plus, it is supposed to protect work from uv radiation.
