Great quality at an affordable price.

Michael Harding oils are always wonderful. The oil seems less fat than other makes.

Certainly looks the same high quality oil colour as I've found with other Michael Harding oils. Like other colours I have tried in this range, the colour looks very dense and I anticipate it will give good tinting power.

Accept no substitute. Faultless paint

A good clean ultramarine.

A great, versatile blue due to its depth and transparency; creates brilliant dark shades from Burnt umber to Black with the addition of Burnt Sienna. Michael Harding's version is beautiful, full of pigment (particularly as there are no fillers in his range of paints), and closely matches that of Winsor and Newton. The colour itself leans more towards a cool Ultramarine Blue - compared to French Ultramarine which has more purple undertones - but is a step or two away from Winsor and Newton's Ultramarine Blue Green Shade. Overall, its a essential blue of any palette and Michael Harding's paint is extremely good value.
