Old Holland : Watercolor Paint : 6ml : Sap Green Lake Extra

The Old Holland Classic Watercolor range is extensive and excellent quality, providing colors which are unique in their color strength with maximum pigmentation. This high color strength requires a different approach, meaning little paint is needed from the tube or pan for the desired color effect. These paints are rich and beautiful with excellent color lifting abilities.

It is well-known that Old Holland attaches a hand-painted color strip to its tubes of oil paint and acrylic paint, showing the paint in the tube. A different solution was chosen for the watercolors. The labels of the tubes and cups of watercolor do not show the full tone of the paint, but the undertone (a logical choice following on from the technique of watercolor painting). The colors on the labels are screen printed with the watercolor in this undertone, using a screen printing technique developed specially for Old Holland.
