Roberson Liquid Metals have a rich deep color and are ideal for a range of applications and surfaces. All colors are intermixable and can be used on surfaces such as plaster, wood, paper & canvas. The paint gives the appearance of metal but will not tarnish and is not required to be varnished.

I had my eye on Roberson Liquid metals for a while and I'm happy to say that they turned out to be as good as expected. Royal gold has a warm, coppery tone. To my eye it looks quite close to Winsor & Newton Galeria gold, but the Liquid Metal seems to be a bit more opaque. The paint itself is of a lovely fluid consistency... I mean, it's called liquid metal for a reason :) However, if you're looking for something mega-sparkly, this might not be the best choice for you. It has more of an elegant silky sheen than a sparkly metallic effect.

A little bit too orangey in colour but applies smoothly and has a good shine. Washes off brushes easily.
