Robert E. Wells is a Yorkshire born artist known for his cityscape paintings, rural landscapes and figurative works. He studied at University in London and has a Masters Degree in The Illustration and Rendering of Architectural Spaces.

Wells finds inspiration in the unusual aspects of everyday life, encouraging the viewer to create their own narrative interpretation of his often ambiguous and sometimes conflicting imagery. His work is held in public collections and has won many awards. A member of the Royal Society of British Artists and The New English Art Club, he regularly exhibits in London.
