The Schmincke Horadam Watercolor Paint Wooden Box Set of 12 contains a balanced selection of 20ml tube colors presented in a wooden box ideal for travel and studio storage. In order to achieve high standards regarding lightfastness, resolubility and stability, Schmincke Horadam Watercolors contains only the finest raw materials.
The paints are bound with Kordofan gum arabic from the southern Sahara. Due to the natural source of the binder, the gum arabic does tend to differ slightly year on year. Schmincke continually tests their ingredients and the best of the batch is selected to ensure the highest quality is achieved.
Another quality of Schmincke Horadam Watercolors is their re-solubility. You will find the same formulation in both their tubes and pans, which means that paint which has dried onto your palette can be easily re-wetted and painted with again.
