Schmincke : Mussini Oil Paint : Wooden Box Set : 5 x 15ml : Evan Woodruffe Selection

The five Schmincke Mussini Oil Paints in this wooden box set have been selected by the artist Evan Woodruffe. All the colors are semi-transparent making them ideal for glazing techniques. The colors can also be mixed and combined with other oil colors for a range of painting styles.

Schmincke Mussini oil colors are unique throughout the world for their use of natural resin binders, instead of conventional oil binders. This allows for more luminous, stable colors.

The recipe for Mussini oils is based on the oil paint formulations of the Old Masters. There are over 100 colors in the range, including 7 gold shades. All of these offer intense pigment saturation and maximum lightfastness. Over 60 of these colors are single pigment formulations, which are particularly good for clean, pure color mixing.
