This item is a mix of PBk11 and PY83 (black and yellow pigments), it doesn't mix well, and oil separates from the pigment within the tube. I am disappointed. I will swap for a brand that uses a single pigment that mixes better.

A little bit stiff, but a tiny amount of medium makes it perfect. The colour itself is exactly what I expected, a cool yellow, but not as cool as the Cad Lemon Yellow. A perfect choice for vivid greens.

I am quite disappointed, although it is a beautiful violet (PV19) colour, the pigment separates from the oil in the tube, so a kind of "cheese" is coming out. You can mix it back, but then you get a quite fluid consistency, and more if you would like to follow the fat over lean technique, and you add a little bit of medium. I have also bought another Sennelier colour that does not separate, but this particular tube of paint causes a little bit of headache, I am afraid.

This is an alternative that I found to be very similar to the Genuine Naples Yellow Light in Michael Harding. Yes this is not Naples yellow Dark, but the Light version. Some manufacturers do call either version as Naples yellow so that is a bit confusing. This is nice creamy light yellow but only less dense than the genuine one I had. Overall worth trying and good to use as a cheap alternative of the genuine.

Great price. As is usual when buying oil paints- the oil has separated during storage , so the first use from the tube takes far longer to dry, as the oil content is higher at the top of the tube. This seems to be more common with the sennelier paints that I have bought than other brands. would storing the tubes horizontally stop this problem? ( Oil DOES float to the top ! )

I use W+N and Michael Harding Oils and decided to try Sennelier as I like their watercolours. The paint is bright, vibrant and smoother than the other two, and really nice to use. The Cinnabar Green is similar to Sap Green but less intense and mixes well with all the blues and yellows. I'm sticking with it!

Lovely paint and a colour that is like a strong peach and very warm in tone. I find it great for underpainting for 'hot' landscapes and makes lovely greys mixed with blues.

Currently one of my favourite colours. In mixtures with blue or green it produces a rich soft green for foliage. On its own it is rich golden and with white brightens up. I used it in this painting of the coastline in Dorset completed today.

A rich cool dark blue. Sennelier paomt has a great consistency and can be thinned a lot without losing its intensity of colour A great choice without breaking the bank.

This is one of those colours that seems to have many colour characteristics in one pigment. For instance, I find it great when mixed loosely with Naples Yellow for Mediterranean buildings as it gives great warmth, and useful generally in landscapes. It is really good for giving a lovely warm tone to the canvas as a basecoat for both summer and winter landscapes. Try toning your support with it when you next do a snow scene.

I love Sennelier colours whether in Oils, Pastels or Watercolour, and I use all three. The paint is lovely and creamy and this colour is one of the most beautiful reds that there is in my opinion. It can be used like Rose Madder when thinned down, or in it's own right, particularly in floral's where it excels or try it in Sunrises for stunning effect. Luscious!

Really good paint with a slightly softer texture than most, but it spreads beautifully with a rich colour that is consistent throughout. I bought this particular colour to try it and now I love it. It isn't quite as bright as Cadmium yellow, but more natural looking.

This colour is wonderful for bright flesh tones - I normally use Schmincke Mussini Flesh, but for sunlit flesh, the Sennelier Naples is a better colour. Lovely peachy tone. Sometimes I mix it with white to make the highlights to go on top of Mussini flesh.

This is my favourite green! It is so versatile-it is not as yellow as its name suggests, but a bright, light green that mixes well to create wonderful olive greens,or blue greens depending on your wish!

Warning: this is not the Naples yellow you are looking for! This is a lovely, creamy, light oil paint and very easy to handle. Coverage is very good, and the paint is opaque. It lost a star though, because it isn't Naples yellow! It's a creamy lemon yellow. I had to add light yellow ochre to make a decent Naples yellow.
