Stones Lithographic Drawing Materials are available in several formats that suit both their composition and your image requirements. Containing ingredients such as grease, wax, soap, soot, and shellac they range from incredibly soft and silky to very hard. Stones Crayons are designed for drawing on lithographic stones, grained litho plates, and photo-positive litho plates. They are used alongside lithographic drawing inks, tusches, and autographic inks for a huge range of mark-making.
Stones 1/4in Crayons are available in seven grades: No 1 being the softest for creating a darker thicker line and No 7 being the hardest for very fine delicate lines. Designed to be easily sharpened, Stones 1/4in Crayons require inserting in a holder for use.
