Winsor & Newton Artisan Matte Varnish is a UV-resistant matte varnish that protects paintings achieved with Artisan Water Mixable Oil Color. This non-yellowing varnish will give your work a unified feel and a soft matte finish. It can be removed with Artisan Varnish Remover. Before applying, the painting must be completely dry (approximately 6 months). Use only as a final varnish and shake well before use.
Artisan Water Mixable Oil Color has its own specially developed range of mediums, varnishes, and solvents, so that all the techniques available to traditional oil painters can be achieved with Artisan oils.
