The Winsor & Newton Designers Gouache Introductory Set is an ideal starting-point for artists looking to build a collection of high-quality gouache paints. Designers Gouache colours are a range of opaque water colours, so called because they were developed for and continue to be mainly used by designers. Gouache is however also used by fine artists as an opaque water colour, or in combination with Artists Water Colour.

The set consists of ten 14ml tubes of Winsor & Newton Designers Gouache (Primary Yellow, Permanent Yellow Deep, Spectrum Red, Primary Red, Ultramarine, Primary Blue, Permanent Green Middle, Yellow Ochre, Ivory Black, Zinc White.) These vibrant, lightfast colours cover a wide spectrum, and can easily be mixed to create more specific tones.
