This compact pocket-sized field box unfolds into a palm-size kit with two palettes for mixing a water container a water bottle, a sponge, and a folding travel brush.
Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolors are chosen according to masstone (color direct from pan), undertone (bias of color when in a thin film), color strength, relative opacity and the character of the pigment in watercolor, ie. granulating, staining or even wash. The resultant color spectrum ensures the largest number of colors can be mixed from the range.

Very effective and colorful box
I bought this box a few months ago, and it's been travelling with me ever since. It's compact, very tough, and lightweight. The box comes with a small water flask and you can clip the lid to the open palette to use as a water pot. When the. flask is clipped in place, it offers a mixing space, to add to the two already present. The box comes with 12 professional paints, and offers a good base selection. I removed the sponge and easily added two extra colors. I have been on a cruise, on a ski trip and on a holiday to Spain with it, and only had to bring an extra brush and a pad of paper. I chose Jackson's art because it was the best price I could find for this box, and it was quickly delivered. Thank you!

Great design and quality. I've been using this product for a decade. The only improvement I would suggest would be a ribbingi to keep the mixing wells apart.
