Jackson’s Museum Stretched Canvas combines the solidity of our 20mm depth wooden stretcher bars, with what many consider to be the finest linens available in the world today. The stretcher bars are kiln-dried, finger-jointed and triple laminated, eliminating the risk of any twisting, warping, expanding or contracting of the wood over time. They are made from 100% PEFC Certified pine.

The Canvas is a 415gsm Claessens linen canvas (CL166) with a medium surface. It is universal primed and is suitable for use with acrylics and oil paints. For a full description of the various processes which go into manufacturing a Claessens canvas, click here.

Please note: You cannot cancel bespoke canvas orders after they've gone through, as each one is made to size for every customer.

Our bespoke items can take up to 14 days to make, so please also allow for the courier service delivery time to your address. To avoid unnecessary delays with any art supplies you wish to purchase we advise that these are ordered separately.

‘Oversized' stretched canvas orders - roughly those with two or more sides longer than 160 cm - cannot be delivered by regular couriers, and will incur an additional location-dependent delivery charge. Once we've received your order you will be contacted with confirmation of this cost and to arrange a delivery date.
