The Jackson Hand Bound Leather Tome is the ultimate sketchbook and journal, hand-bound with outstanding craftsmanship using the finest materials. The deckle edged 130gm Strathmore acid-free drawing paper is hand-stitched with linen binder’s thread, reinforced with linen bookbinding chord and tarlatan, before being bound in local Pennsylvanian sourced Vegetable tanned leather.
Peg and Awl was founded by husband and wife team Margaux and Walter Kent. The Philadelphia-based makers take inspiration from the history and craftsmanship of found treasures, as well as the effect of the passage of time on abandoned objects. The beautifully handcrafted products are made from natural and often salvaged materials, making each piece unique and a perfect addition to the artists’ studio or plein air toolkit.
