Finetec GmbH Coliro Pearlcolors can be used in the same way as watercolours using a brush and water, they are suitable for most surfaces including paper, stone and wood. The gorgeous metallic shades are perfect for creating wonderful shiny pieces and have a lovely wavy surface.

Please note Shimmer-Pearlcolors are difficult to see on white paper.

I have several of these Coliro mica watercolour paint sets. This pearlcolours is my favourite. That little glint of these special colours makes all the difference to my paintings. I love the effect when I add a little streak or two when drawing the hair on the portraits, it really has the wow factor, especially when the light catches the picture. Unfortunately it doesn't show up well enough when putting a picture online, so I can't show you. Well worth trying if you haven't had them before. (Posted on 16/03/2021)
