Papier d'aquarelle Arches Aquarelle est sans acide et chlore libre, faites de fibres de coton 100 % qui assurent la force et stabilité. Le papier est taille baignoire en gélatine naturelle et séchée à l'air, il faut frotter, gratter et effacer tout en gardant l'intensité initiale de l'aquarelle. Arches Aquarelle utilise sans azurants optiques, donc c' est naturel dans la couleur blanche ne jaunira pas avec l'âge et ayant une valeur archivistique est assurée. Arches Aquarelle est excellent pour l'aquarelle, gouache, plume et encre, acrylique et calligraphie.

The very hard robust surface of arches paper gives a brightness to watercolours. The paintings can be reworked with going muddy. The achilles heal of arches paper was the 'lift off" technique wasn't easy to perform ....... compared to other papers. This now easy to achieve with the "magic sponges", readily available in UK. (Posté le 01/06/2016)

Over the years I've tried many different brands of watercolour paper but for my big brush, big washes style of painting Arches is the best, I always buy the 140 not and stretch it first, once stretched it will take any amount of water without buckling, it's a very predictable, quality paper. I'm just ordering another 20 sheets to be cut in half by Jacksons. Excellent service as always! (Posté le 20/08/2015)
