Established in 1830 and based in Cannes on the French Riviera, Charvin slowly and expertly produces oil colour with a dedication to detail to ensure consistent and creamy colours that are full of character.

Charvin Extra Fine Artist Oil colours are made according to some of the oldest recipes still in use. The highest possible concentration of pigment is combined with the principle binder, poppy oil, which is non-yellowing and gives a creamy texture and richness. The extensive range of colours are permanent and lightfast, and are ideal for traditional and modern techniques.
