Derivan : Matisse Structure : Acrylic Paint

Matisse Structure Formula has a rich and heavy texture that is especially suited to impasto techniques. It is ideal for application with a brush or palette knife and creates striking textured effects. Brush strokes are immediately visible, making it particularly suitable for textured three-dimensional effects. All Matisse colours have been specifically formulated to ensure that they will not fade or degrade over time under normal conditions. Each colour has had many years of testing and has been formulated to enable the optimum pigment load with a reliable consistency. Applied undiluted by brush or knife it gives a rich and deep impasto finish. The colours may be thinned with water for washes and striking watercolour effects.

Matisse Structure Formula is completely compatible with Matisse Mediums. Mixing with Matisse Mediums can alter the paint’s characteristics and add or subtract body and texture, gloss and sheen, and extend or decrease working time. Both the Matisse Structure and Flow Formulas can be used together on the same painting for different effects. The colour range for both formulas is identical. Matisse Structure Formula does not need to be diluted.
