Very surprised how much I liked this product in use. At first it seemed just a dull and heavy weighted blade and it was hard to work out what difference it would offer compared to a lighter thinner artist palette/painting knife for scraping back. But it enabled me to concentrate well whilst scraping back dried 4 day day old oil paint right to the gessoed wood board, gently and without damage. I almost ordered the more expensive version but suspect this Jackson version does the job just as well.

Not sure how it works on canvas yet, but it was good on oil on wood. (Posté le 16/03/2017)
