Canson Mi-Teintes is a pulp-dyed coloured art paper that has won worldwide recognition for its qualities. This genuine art paper contains 60% cotton and features a rough 'hot pressed' texture. It is available in a varied assortment of colours, while its rough surface texture makes it an exciting base for pastel, pencil, and charcoal, as well as pen and washes. This paper also has the advantage of having a different texture on both sides: a honeycombed 'rough' side and a fine grain on the reverse.
In addition to its qualities as a drawing medium, Mi-Teintes complies with the ISO 9706 standard on permanence, a guarantee of excellent conservation.
