Jackson’s Museum Aluminium Stretched canvases combine the durability and stability of aluminium stretcher bars, with what many consider to be the finest linens available to artists.

The canvas is a 325gsm Claessens linen canvas (CL13) with a Very Fine surface. It is oil primed and is suitable for use with oil paints. For a full description of the various processes which go into manufacturing a Claessens canvas, click here.

Please note: You cannot cancel bespoke canvas orders after they've gone through, as each one is made to size for every customer.

Please allow an extra 10 - 18 days for the delivery of bespoke canvases. To avoid unnecessary delays with any art supplies you wish to purchase we advise that these are ordered separately.

‘Oversized' stretched canvas orders - roughly those with two or more sides longer than 160 cm - cannot be delivered by regular couriers, and will incur an additional location-dependent delivery charge. Once we've received your order you will be contacted with confirmation of this cost and to arrange a delivery date.
