Stones Lithographic Drawing Materials are available in several formats that suit both their composition and your image requirements. Containing ingredients such as grease, wax, soap, soot, and shellac they range from incredibly soft and silky to very hard. Stones Crayons are designed for drawing on lithographic stones, grained litho plates, and photo-positive litho plates. They are used alongside lithographic drawing inks, tusches, and autographic inks for a huge range of mark-making.
Stones Tablet Crayon square in shape and are perfect for broad tonal areas and textures. Their shape also makes them great for taking rubbings from textural surfaces. Available in five grades with No 1 being the softest and No 5 being the hardest.
