Best place to buy a large (300ml) quantity. Good quality and good price. Others seem to sell small 35ml bottles. (Posted on 06/09/2016)

Oddly, I have not used this product for it's intended purchase, but for dyeing wood, or rather "ebonising" wood...there are many ways to achieve this effect but of all the traditional methods I have tried this worked best, a wonderful, "dead" black...also, it contains shellac, so after drying, it is both UV and water resistant. It has a very low viscocity, and so would be unsuitable for use in fountain pens...
