Constructed of bamboo, this pen has a removable brush head at one end which tucks neatly into the handle. The brush head can be removed when not in use. The bamboo end is ideal for calligraphy and sumi ink drawing and is lightweight, making it really easy to hold so that you can create bold, expressive strokes.

Chinese bamboo painting pens are fantastic for creating different lines and brush strokes when used with drawing ink.

Total length (with brush head removed) is 17.5cm, the reservoir measures roughly 4cm.

3 because fun and cheap but so far brush is quite sticky and stiff (maybe needs more wetting/cleaning?). Have not tried pen end particularly but satisfying to hold.
Potentially good for travelling with though as protects its own bristles. (Posted on 23/04/2019)
