Highly recommend this palette (and those of the same range but with more wells)! Airtight with a rubber ring for the closure, keeps the paints well protected, doesn't make them dry out with cracking. Lots of space for mixing too. One tip would be to place your watercolour paint on the upper part of the slanting wells so when you do use the paints and leave behind some water, the water pools down to the bottom of the well and doesn't dilute your poured paints. I was planning on using this for keeping gouache paint from drying so quickly. It does not work at all for this purpose. There is a rubber seal around the lid, but the paint still dries completely in one day. Even if I spray the paint with water before I close the lid, it's almost totally hard the next day.Rating
So definitely not recommended for gouache, acrylics or similar. For watercolor it would work ok, but it's still not a nice palette. The plastic feels cheap, it's really light and bendy and even worse than ordinary plastic palettes for mixing.

This is the first custom palette I have used and in has totally changed the way I paint. It has made painting with watercolours so nice and easy. I love having all of my favourite colours in one palette.Rating
