Pro Arte is one of the world’s leading brush makers. In the 1980's, the UK based company were responsible for the first good quality synthetic alternative to the sable brush, with the creation of the Prolene range.

Each brush in the Prolene range has improved colour holding and pointing properties. They are made with synthetic polyester bristles specially developed so that they don’t become charged up with static electricity. This means they behave like sable while being more durable and less expensive.

Prolene brushes are set in an attractive ferrule which is plated with gold. The polished teak handle completes the brush - they are very comfortable and practical for a variety of applications and techniques.
