A brush unique to da Vinci, the CosmoTop Mix B is a combination of Kolinsky Red Sable, Russian Blue Squirrel, and Russian Fitch (Black Sable), along with small amounts of synthetic hair.
This brush features the benefits of natural hairs for watercolour: the pointing and edging of sable, the water-holding capacity and wash strokes of squirrel, and the stiffness and durability of fitch.
Quill Mop: expertly shaped, these brushes are unmatched for spring, resiliency, water-carrying capacity and their ability to hold a sharp point. They are excellent for precise, controlled brush strokes, detail work, and illustration.

I actually accidentally stumbled upon this brush and I am very pleased with it. It can do detailing and wash at the same time due to its properties of the hair types used in the brush. Very good value for money that I got the larger brushes too. (Posted on 14.05.2018)Rating - Review by Feefo

there is enough kolinsky sable in the brush to make it soft and hold lots of paint but the synthetic part helps with the spring. I love this brush. (Posted on 23.12.2014)Rating
