Jackson's : Pure Squirrel Mop Brush : Series 828 : Size 6
The Pure Squirrel watercolour brush is the professional soft hair watercolour brush. Squirrel hair has a combination of incredible holding capacity and very soft hair which has the ability to be moulded into a variety of forms. Series 828 is the ultimate master squirrel brush. Ideal for washes, pin point detail, wet on wet and hard edge long stroke painting. Used in a variety of ways we guarantee this brush to be one of your favourites. Varnished wooden handles and traditional natural quill.

Length: 180mm
Please note: our Squirrel mop brushes can vary in size due to the slight variations in the natural hair that we use, and because they are hand-made and hand-tied. This can sometimes cause variations of up to 1.5mm.

The brush has changed since the last Jackson's no.6 mop I owned, which was the same as the one shown on the sites photo. The head is not as full as my last one, with very little belly when wet and doesn't quite handle as well as a result. The handle is different now also, no longer having the curved taper to the shaft that felt nice in the hand, it is now just a straight taper. It is still a nice brush and to be honest I would be quite happy with it had I not had the old one to compare it against. It just does not feel the same quality as my old one.
