Pro Arte : Prolene Plus : Series 007 : Round : Size 7

Whilst named to acknowledge its Prolene legacy, the ‘Plus’ represents something special. Still purely synthetic, Prolene Plus employs fibres which are somewhat softer and exude a feel much closer to natural hair. The resulting filament colour, having darker tips, looks even more like sable hair than its predecessor. It has improved colour holding and pointing properties.

Set in a beautiful ferrule which is plated with gold. Polished teak handle completes the brush.

My first Pro Arte brush. I wanted to get a Prolene Plus for a while after hearing good things about them. I'm very impressed. Holds point perfectly, retains plenty of water and paints beautifully. Thinking of getting a larger size now since they are so good. (Posted on 12.01.2018)
