Very cool brush for an elaboration of details gouache. It doesn't hold water so well, but the pigment sticks to it perfectly. The thin tip and elasticity of synthetics give excellent results when working with gouache. I advise! (Posted on 29.04.2021)Rating - Review by Feefo
Excellent brushes for oil painting (Posted on 19.11.2018)Rating - Review by Feefo
good point, comfortable handle. (Posted on 25.09.2018)Rating - Review by Heidi (Denmark)
I have just used it for the first time, but I had to go straight here to tell how lovely it is. The brush is wonderful for taking along, feels nice to paint with and looks... splendid ;)Rating
It is easy to replace the cap/handle over the bristles after use.
I will have to add other brushes in the series to my wish list. (Posted on 30.06.2018)- Review by Feefo
Really great brush for the price. Lovely springy hairs and a very fine point. (Posted on 25.06.2018)Rating - Review by Sebastian
Superb brush! (Posted on 22.04.2018)Rating - Review by Rosario
Great brush! Great point, soft and springy, holds a good amount of watercolor. Very good quality. (Posted on 20.03.2018)Rating - Review by Marina
Nice brush that comes to a precise point and holds an ok amount of colour and water. Perfect for detailed work on the go! (Posted on 16.02.2018)Rating - Review by Sebastian
I bought this as my secondary wash/cut around highlights brush. I was concerned that size 14 would be too small (these are similar to Escoda sizing) for that task but it works briliantly. It holds an amazing point, it's spingy and has very good capacity for a synthetic. Build quality is same as Escoda - excellent. (Posted on 12.01.2018)Rating - Review by Sergei
Very good point and versatile brush. # 8, 12,16 Use it a lot and would highly recommend. Hope Jackson's will keep the quality of these further on. (Posted on 03.09.2017)Rating - Review by Feefo

Always use this product (Posted on 16.03.2017)Rating - Review by Feefo

All the brush in this range that I have bought are a pleasure to use (Posted on 16.03.2017)Rating - Review by Meryl Mae
I absolutely love this brush! Snaps to a perfectly sharp point. I initially thought this would be heavy because of the metal body but it's not. It's perfectly balanced. The actual brush is a little different from the picture though. The Jackson's brand and series name is printed wooden part of the handle instead of the cap. (Posted on 19.08.2016)Rating - Review by Feefo
Does a very good job for the price. (Posted on 22.06.2016)Rating - Review by Feefo

These are great value and work perfectly for my pen and watercolour work. (Posted on 11.09.2015)Rating - Review by Feefo
Currently my most used brush, holds plenty of paint, keeps an accurate point, balanced in the hand and close to the quality of the Escoda brushes at a much lower price. (Posted on 21.08.2015)Rating - Review by Julia Ovchinnikova
Excellent brush! Convenient and feature-rich! Brush draws a thin line. (Posted on 20.08.2015)Rating - Review by Dagmar Paseková
The best synthetic brush I've tried so far. Relatively soft, holds shape and has very interesting water and pigment holding ability. Not like sable brushes but veery close. I like how the brush returns to its original shape after each stroke. The construction is also nice, hope it won't loosen in time. The white hair it's made of can become very tricky as it will stain in time and I won't be able to tell if there's some pigment left in there. More natural hair appearance would be better imho. Though this doesn't really affect the performance... (Posted on 20.08.2015)Rating - Review by Sharlie Tang
Just remember to wet it well before you start using - it's so soft, keeps its point and controllable as described! I love it! And you won't feel heartache digging into a rock hard pan watercolours :'D (Posted on 20.08.2015)Rating - Review by Rebecca Fleming
I bought this brush because it popped up under another item I was looking at and it was cheap. When I received it I was surprised by how good the design and quality was; the wood-grain design on the inner part of the handle adds a bit of class. When closed up it is small enough to fit easily into any of the pan sets I have. The sizes seem to be a little smaller than average. I got this size 6 Artica brush and it is the same size as my size 5 DaVinci Cosmotop travel brush. (Posted on 20.08.2015)Rating - Review by nicholas fowler
these are excellent brushes.after doing a lot of oil painting, as usual my tchnique becomes bit wooden, time to start some watercolor. so, having looked at these brrushes, since they came out, I went to town and bought load of them, just the right sizes. they are not the softest of brushes, but are superb for techniques requiring dry brush work, and fine detail, yet are good for washes also. the best quality is they retain their shape, I am using Artistco Fabriano paper, 200 LB , maybe heavier, and these brushes work well on this. for fine deatil I recommend them.
