Fairly new to oils, I had bought a cheap but good looking set of brushes in a nice case from another retailer, only to find the bristles started to retract under the metal bit. I wanted something better, without spending a fortune. These have been excellent - slow to wear down and fairly easy to clean with Masters soap - even my art tutor has decided to buy some.
