It erases well - BUT.I bought this expecting the same doughy, putty quality of Faber Castell with an easy malleability. This is not the case - the product is quite a bit more gummy and doesn't reform well at all once torn off. I will be using the 7 i bought, but in the future i will be paying the necessary premium for Faber Castell again. I use these erasers for charcoal, which already shortens their lifespan considerably.
