For use with oil and acrylic paint, the Jakar Varnished Oval Walnut Palette has been designed to sit comfortably on the forearm with a thumbhole, allowing you to grip it with ease. It is really lightweight which is ideal if you are going to be spending a long time in the studio painting. The surface has a slight sheen.

While primarily designed to be used with your left hand, the balance and weight distribution of the palette will also mean it will sit fairly comfortably in your right hand (for left handed painters) also.
