An A4 concertina sketchbook, fantastic for display and field-sketching purposes. This unique and versatile book opens out to give you 70 working surfaces, each a double-thickness of white acid-free 140gsm high-quality cartridge paper. Each page is made of two sheets of paper joined together to give extra stability. This sketchbook is great with pencil, pen, watercolour and alcohol-based markers.

The concertina sketchbooks by Seawhite have been a favourite product of mine to use since 2017. After being recommended by one of my university art tutors, I have been using these sketchbooks, especially for exhibiting illustrations/still life drawings at the Free-Range Degree Show in London. These products are unique for the method of display on white tables and shadowed surfaces. The Leparello structure acts like a guided map book where it takes you on a journey and forms a connection together to express creativity across the space (you could imagine they appear like a trail of stepping stones).Rating
The leporello structure is made up of 70 pages which gives you a choice on how to express creative ways of thinking. They are ideal for artists who enjoy working in mixed media (e.g., calligraphy ink, brush/fine line pens). Alternatively, I have used this book as an object to project moving images, sensory colour lights from a projector in a dark hidden gallery space.
