The pastels seem to float over this paper while leaving their mark. Lovely to work on. (Posted on 16/03/2017)

I love this pastel paper even though I am not a pastel artist. I use it with indian ink/acrylic ink washes and oil pastels on top. I use the cheaper pastel for the first layers as the ground takes a lot of pastel. It takes a bit of getting used to and I have to remember that too many layers and too much blending can turn to mud with the oil pastels. But with practice the results are wonderful. An excellent pastel paper, which can take wet under washes, and plenty of layers of pastels. (Posted on 01/12/2015)

The pastel paper is ideal and the result is great. It is also very forgiving if I have to rub anything out and I find I can use an ordinary eraser without any damage to the texture of the paper. The main thing is I can use this paper with confidence which is what I need to have when undertaking commissions. (Posted on 06/11/2015)

Not for the meek; this ground eats pastel and necessitates a rather different technique than when usual more traditional papers. It excels in underpainting and holding the pastel. In truth, I'm a bit overawed by its possibilities. Very forgiving though - just fix and go over the top of mistakes. (Posted on 09/03/2015)

Yes. Love the paper. You have to take care in how you blend any colours as the coarseness of the paper will remove your finger prints! But that accepted, the paper takes the pastel beautifully and the colours are truly delicious. the paper also accepts multi layers with ease. Very happy. (Posted on 06/03/2015)
