To help you find exactly what you're looking for, we provide three different ways of browsing through our products:
1. Department - Use the Colour, Surface, Brushes and Studio drop-down menus to find the area you're looking for, and then narrow down your search further with the filter options on the left of the results page.
2. Brand - If you have a product in mind, or you would like to purchase products from your favourite brand, then this might be the best way for you to navigate our catalogue. Use the Brand drop-down menu to bring up a list of the most popular brands that we stock, or click BRANDS or ‘See more brands’ to see the full list. You can always click on a product category and use the brand filter too.
3. Keyword Search - Using the search box in the top right of the site will allow you to filter through our entire catalogue. Performing a search for the term 'acrylic', for example, will produce; categories you may like to search through, popular search terms and products that include the word 'acrylic' in their name. Navigating through categories or popular search terms will bring you to a results page that can be filtered further using the filter options on the left of the results page. Navigating through the suggested products will take you directly to the product page.
When you select an item that you are interested in, you can add it to your basket and continue shopping, or proceed to the checkout. Alternatively, you can create a Wishlist. Once logged in, click on Add to My Favorites on the product page that you wish to save. You can then view this list by clicking on the star icon on the top right of the homepage. If you would like to share this list with friends and family, click 'share this' at the bottom right of the page. You can then add an email address and message before sending.
Ran out of time and want to save your order for later? Make sure that you are signed in (you may need to register if this is your first time ordering with us), check your chosen items are in your basket and then sign out. Your basket will be saved for the next time that you sign into our website. To find your chosen items, simply sign back in (if necessary) and click on My Basket. We also recommend to always sign in before you start shopping.
To begin the checkout process, go to My Basket at the top right of the screen, you will see a summary of the items in your basket, with the option of clicking Edit Basket or Checkout. When you click through to the Edit Basket page, you can review the items you’re about to purchase, view a shipping estimate and apply voucher codes, or reward points. When you’re ready, click Proceed to Checkout.
If you're not already signed in, you'll be asked to do so now. We always recommend signing in, especially if you’re likely to order again in the future, as it allows you to save your shipping and billing addresses for a quicker checkout. There is also the option of placing an order as a guest by using Express Checkout, which will not require you to create a new account. In order to ensure that transactions are traceable, guests can only make payments via Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to use Paypal’s payment process and you can pay with a credit/debit card.
We are generally unable to cancel or amend orders after they have been placed. If you have made a mistake with your order, such as an incorrect delivery address, please get in touch with our Customer Service team as soon as possible.
We accept credit/debit card and PayPal payments on our website. Please see the Ordering by Post section for information regarding payment by cheque or postal order. Transactions are charged in the currency of your choice. We are unable to accept American Express card payments.
We are happy to accept orders by post if you wish to pay by cheque or postal order. Card payments can also be processed this way. Please write out your order (including product codes as listed on our website), or complete the the order form found here (this form can also be found at the end of our catalogue), and send it to:

Cheques must be made out to 'Jackson's Art Supplies'. Orders made by post are not recommended if products are needed urgently, as it can take some time for us to receive your letter. Please note that due to our price matching policy, prices are subject to change at short notice; in the event that a price has changed between you placing an order and us receiving it we will notify you of the discrepancy.

The current UK VAT rate is 20%. This will be included on all orders delivered to an address in the UK.
Channel Islands orders are VAT exempt - to ensure that this is processed correctly, please set your delivery country to Jersey or Guernsey rather than the United Kingdom.
Jackson’s are registered for local sale tax in a number of other countries.
Norway is subject to 25% VAT.
Australia is subject to 10% sales tax.
USA orders are subject to local sales tax in Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Virginia, the rate varies by district. All other states are exempt from Sales Tax.
The Rest of World (RoW) orders are exempt from VAT and Sales Tax, however, you may be asked to pay local tax and customs charges when the goods arrive in the destination country.
Post-Brexit July 2021 onwards: orders under 150 euros will have the appropriate VAT charged at the point of sale and will not require customs clearance.
Rest of the world orders are exempt from VAT, however some destinations require a sales tax that will be included in your total determined by destination. There are no import charges for US customers. However some other countries, depending on the value of the order, do require a customs charge when the goods arrive. Please check locally for levels and tariffs.
Orders sent to the Channel Islands are also VAT exempt – to ensure that this is processed correctly, please set your delivery country to Jersey or Guernsey rather than the United Kingdom.
Please note: due to changes in international tax regulations and thresholds, we have been required to start adding tax to our sales in a number of countries and states, and to charge new rates in some others. When these taxes have been charged, the amount is visible under the Basket Total section at checkout. Please note that these rates are set by the country or state and will change only as a result of legislation by the tax jurisdiction in question.
You can view and print copies of your invoices by viewing the order history in your account; once you have signed in, click through to My Account and choose My Orders from the menu, then click the View Order link next to the order you would like to view. If you click on the print button, you can download a copy of your invoice, which includes a VAT total for the order. For more detailed VAT information, please contact our Customer Service team.
If you are a visitor to the UK and you normally live outside of the UK, you may be able to get a refund of the VAT paid with the ‘VAT retail export scheme’. Please note that in order to qualify, goods must be exported from the UK within three months of purchase. If you wish to take advantage of this scheme, please request a tax-free shopping form from us and present it with the goods when you pass through UK customs. They will inspect the goods and send us the completed form within three months, at which point your VAT will be refunded. We charge a £5.00 administration fee for this service.
