Winsor & Newton Watercolour Markers are highly pigmented, lightfast, water-based pens. They deliver the performance of Winsor & Newton Watercolour with the added precision of a pen.

These watercolour markers are twin-tipped; they have a flexible brush nib that provides thickness (and a traditional art feel) and a fine nib for extra detail.

The markers provide excellent washes when used with a wet brush, leaving little or none of the original mark if desired. The colours of the markers match those of the Winsor & Newton Cotman range. The marker pens are intermixable with all Winsor & Newton Watercolours and Watercolour Mediums. For best results, use with a watercolour paper.

Quality is fine but I am not sure that the product will be as easy to use as I had hoped. (Posted on 16/03/2017)

The tips are too soft, the colours 'dirty' - not at all as 'luminous' and fresh as those from the tubes or pans. Two of the caps would not come off - when they did, they had the tips ensconced in them, very difficult to extract. Overall, not what I would have expected from Winsor & Newton, whose watercolours I usually rank as about the best. (Posted on 16/03/2017)

The nibs are fine and the colors are rich... but they are not easily blended, not very water soluble, and tend to fade and become bland after water applied. Very disappointed. My Sakura watercolor pens do a much better job but have a very small paint well. Was hopping these larger markers would do at least as well. Will not be buying more colors. (Posted on 20/08/2015)
