Perfect for use with watercolour there is now a squeeze bottle with a needle-fine tip for precision watercolour or acrylic paint application. Simply fill this empty bottle with your choice of ink, watercolour, or fluid acrylic and apply very fine lines of paint or precise drops.
The empty polythene bottle comes with two size tips- a 0.8mm nylon nib applicator and, for even finer work, a 0.4mm steel nib attachment. It is ideal for painting fine areas such as petals, masts, windows, rigging. Many artists also use the bottles in experimental ways to add texture to watercolour paintings, such as blowing paint and dropping alcohol.
The shape of the bottle means it is comfortable to hold, similar to holding a pen.
The fine-ness of the needle tips means they can clog if paint is left to dry inside them. Be sure to squeeze clean water through the tips when you are finished painting – particularly if using acrylics. If any paint does dry inside the needle a long pin is provided to push the clog through.
