Our monthly competitions are a great way for us to share and promote amazing artists. We thought to give you a list of the competitions we have coming up so that you can get ahead of the game and plan your entries in advance! From pastel portraits to ink and line drawings, we have something for everyone to enter. Enter the current competition.

Pastels are often used for landscapes because of the ability to build up many layers and blend colours together, from creating a stormy sky to a field full of flowers. For our next competition we would love to see your landscapes in pastel! Submit your pastel painting for a chance to win a year’s Silver membership of the Pastel Academy run by artist and tutor Heather Harman and a Set of 60 Art Spectrum Soft Pastels in a Wooden Box worth £194! There will also be a People’s Choice Award voted for by the public where the winner will receive a Half-Stick set of 40 Art Spectrum Soft Pastels worth £60.
