After a week of voting and over 3,100 votes, our winners of our latest Pastel Portrait Competition have been selected! The quality and range of entries we have received for this competition has been amazing, we have loved looking at both the highly intricate and detailed portraits to the more expressive, looser styles. It was really difficult to choose the overall winner as all the entries have winning qualities within them. We decided on choosing a portrait which not only showed technical skill but artistic intent. We hope you have enjoyed looking through all the entries and hopefully it has inspired you or spurred you on to enter our next competition!
Jackson’s judging panel have chosen the first prize winner winning a Unison Set of 72 Pastels for Portraits and after one week of voting, the public have chosen their 3 winners who each win their choice of 2 sets of 14 Jackson’s Handmade Pastels. We would like to thank everyone for submitting your work and to those of you that voted for supporting and promoting the artists that entered.
