Our shortlist for the Atmospheric Acrylics Competition has been chosen! Thank you to everyone who submitted – we received a fantastic number of almost 300 submissions in a multitude of acrylic applications. Ranging from landscapes to portraits, abstracts to screen prints and drawings to collages, this competition truly represented the diversity that acrylic paint encourages.
Voting for the People’s Choice Award has now closed.

Hi Dean
The shortlist for this competition is less than 10% of the entries we received, so most entrants will not have got through. It is the nature of competitions that the vast majority of entrants will be disappointed. We are pleased that we had so many high quality entries, but this does make selection more difficult as we can’t choose everyone.
I hope this hasn’t discouraged you. Do continue making art, both for yourself and if you like, for future competitions. Just remember that a judge not liking your work best doesn’t mean they didn’t like it at all and doesn’t mean others wouldn’t like it.
