Caran d'Ache Neocolor II Artists' Watercolour Crayons are among the widest range of wax-based watersoluble pastels on the market. Each colour has a high pigment concentration for bright and opaque colours. The pastels offer a soft, velvety finish while creating no dust, and have great covering power as well as excellent lightfastness.
Neocolor II can be used for all forms of creativity, ranging from drawings on dry or wet media, monotypes, glazing, or colour gradation.

Deliciously bright
An excellent product - can be laid down in a thick layer due to the pastel's buttery texture, but can also be watered down into a thin wash. Such versatility is fun to play with. They are also easy and clean to work with, not needing any fixative like other oil pastels. It can also be used all the way down to the nub, so no real waste to speak of! Will be buying more colours in the near future.
