Holbein Watercolour Mediums are a range of products designed to create various effects and improve the flow, texture, and finish of watercolour paints. The range includes Watercolour Medium to enhance flow, Iridescent Medium for a pearlescent effect, Gum Arabic to increase gloss and brilliance, and Ox-Gall Medium to improve the wetting properties of watercolours.
These mediums can be mixed with watercolours to modify their behaviour. Watercolour Medium, Iridescent Medium, and Gum Arabic are also suitable for use with gouache.
