Strathmore 400 Series Watercolour Hardbound Art Journals have a lightly textured, chocolate-coloured cover for protection and support. Strathmore use their intermediate grade, acid-free, natural white watercolour paper which is suitable for watercolour, gouache and acrylic.
Please note, this product has a Cold pressed ('Not') surface. The surface of the paper is slightly textured, and is not suitable for extremely detailed work, though most painters will find it suitable for most purposes.
