The Tim Fisher Soft Pastel Liquefier temporarily dissolves the binder that holds soft pastels together to allow you to create beautiful wash effects, similar to a watercolour wash. It also allows you to mix and blend the colours to create a range of interesting effects. The liquefier has an alcohol base, so once applied, it will dry quickly returning the pastel painting to its original state.
Please note, this is not a pastel fixative.
