Winsor & Newton Retouching Varnish is a UV-resistant varnish that gives temporary protection and a unified finish to recently completed oil paintings. It is quick drying and should be used thinly.
Retouching Varnish provides a temporary gloss varnish and is designed to protect oil paintings during the drying process. It revives dull areas, enhances colour depth, and allows continued drying before final varnishing. Ensure painting is touch dry before applying.
